    Chimney Crown Repairs

    The chimney crown (also referred to as the wash crown) is the top element of masonry chimney. It covers and seals the top of the chimney from the flue liner to the chimney edge. The crown should provide a downward slope that will direct the water from the flue to the erosion of the brick and mortar in the chimney’s vertical surfaces. 

    Clean Out Doors

    Most clean out doors are made out of galvanized steel, which rust and rot causing them to fall apart. Our doors are made out of 3/16 gauge stainless steel, which prevents rust and rot. The clean out door on the outside of your house gives you access to clean out the chimney without allowing animals and weather in. 
    Chimney Flashing

    Flashing is the seal between the roofing material and the chimney. Flashing prevents rain and snow from running down the chimney into living spaces where it can damage ceilings and walls, and cause rot in rafters. It is designed to allow both the roof and the chimney to expand and contract at their own rates without breaking the waterproof seal in either area.
